Image annotator

Arrows, rectangles, text, blur and black-box on top of a screenshot. For bug reports, instructions, privacy-safe sharing.

Adds annotations on top of a screenshot or image: arrows (with auto-placed arrowheads), rectangles for highlighting an area, semi-transparent highlighters (marker-pen style), editorial text with a stroked outline so it stays readable on any background, a pixel-blur region for privacy (chunky mosaic — no convolutions, no readable details left), and a solid black box for hard redaction. Every annotation is stored as an object, so Undo cheaply removes the last one and “Clear all” returns a pristine image. Colour and stroke width can change between annotations — existing ones keep their original style. All drawing happens on a canvas at the source resolution, not the displayed preview — so the saved PNG is the full-resolution result, regardless of how the image was visually scaled in the browser. Useful for bug reports (point at a button and write “click here → error”), how-to walkthroughs, and privacy-aware social sharing — black out names, avatars, ticket numbers, addresses. Processing happens in the browser, the file never leaves your device.
